What we do

We take redundant IT equipment away from businesses, schools, healthcare organisations and public sector bodies, destroy the data on it to a recognised standard, and give the hardware itself the best available outcome — refurbishment and resale where there is life left in it, licensed recycling where there is not. Nothing we handle goes to landfill.

Most collections cost nothing. That is not a loss leader: working equipment has resale value, and that value covers the cost of collecting, sanitising and recycling the rest. Where the equipment is newer or the volume is higher, the balance tips the other way and we pay you for it.

Why the two-method approach

We degauss magnetic hard drives and physically shred solid state media, because those are the methods that actually work on each. A great deal of the industry runs everything through one machine and prints the same certificate regardless. We think the distinction matters enough to build the process around it, and to explain it publicly so customers can ask better questions of whoever they end up using.

Our licences and registrations

All four can be checked independently on the Environment Agency and ICO public registers, and we would encourage you to do so — for us and for anyone else you consider. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits are booked, with ISO 27001 and ADISA to follow.

Where we work

We are Yorkshire-based with regular routes through Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Rochdale, Manchester, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Hull and Cumbria. We cover the UK mainland for larger jobs — if you are outside the routes above, ask, because it usually still works out.
